EZ Proxy Instructions

First, you must know your okstate.edu E-mail address and password or you cannot log on to EZ Proxy.
If you do not have that information you can access it at http://home.okstate.edu/prism.
If you have difficulty with the account, call tech support at 744-7836.
You can test whether you okstate student E-mail account is working properly at http://my.okstate.edu/
Once your okstate.edu E-mail account is active, then go to http://www.library.okstate.edu
Scroll down the page: click on the green box in the left column labeled EZ Proxy.
You are now at the EZ Proxy login page, which is labeled Off-Campus Access.
Scroll down and this is what you will see:
Enter your okstate.edu E-mail address in the username box. Omit the @okstate.edu portion of your
E-mail address.
For example, if your E-mail address is [email protected], then type in someone
The box labeled context automatically defaults to students.Okstate. Leave it as is.
Enter your okstate.edu E-mail password in the password box.
Important: even if you have changed your password from what was originally assigned, you may still
have to use the original password. You may go to http://home.okstate.edu/prism to learn
your original password. The password may be case-sensitive as well.
Click on Submit Query.
You should now be logged onto EZ Proxy.
Choose A-Z Listing.
Locate either J-Stor or ProQuest Direct to do your searches for articles.
Now that your okstate.edu E-mail account is working, its password is also your Novell password,
which you will need to logon when working in an on-campus computer lab. On campus computer lab workstations
will not function unless you logon with this information.
