January 2004:

English Discourse is now one year old and is indexed in most major and minor search engines. The e-journals have published 70 essays and annotated bibliographies authored by undergraduate students in English Composition courses. The pages devoted to teaching make available a collection of handouts and tutorials. These materials are accessed daily by people around the world.

The Spring of 2004, however, promises to be a somewhat less prolific semester for publishing, but the Fall will yield another 30 to 40 published essays and annotated bibliographies.

This year will also mark the launch of a companion website that will publish the complete works in English of minor British poets of the 17th century. When the site launches, English Discourse will promote it.
