English Discourse—the e-journal is pleased to announce its first Call for Papers.

We currently seek papers for all English Discourse journals.
  • Papers on any topic of social importance.
  • Papers on literature from any period.


  • All articles must conform to the following guidelines:
  • Must be argumentative.
  • Well-researched, demonstrating an awareness of current scholarship.
  • Include in-text citations and works cited page citations.
  • Footnotes and endnotes should not be used.


  • Submission Details:

  • Suggested length: Minimum 1500 words to maximum 5000 words
  • Time Between Submission And Publication Decision: 4-6 weeks
  • Time Between Decision And Publication: 1-3 months
  • Blind Submission: No
